I defended my PhD thesis called “Designing Everyday Computational Things” in 2001, and given that my latest book (together with Heather Wiltse) is about “Changing Things; the future of objects in a digital world” it is obvious that some interests have remained part of my work for quite some time. But overall it is really about design research as a way getting to know what is potentially possible beyond what we at first might think is likely.
